In addition to learning new finishes, we will be discussing proper color work, toning and amplifying. This "intermediate," hands-on workshop will provide you with the ability to coordinate fabulous room concepts by combining the latest colors techniques to window treatments, furniture fabrics, flooring and the latest faux finishing techniques.


Interior Design II

Our goal in the advanced, hands-on workshop is to train the "do-it-yourselfer" to become your own decorator. In this workshop, you will create a portfolio of Faux finishes, learn tricks of the trade, and get you ready to start your own interior design studio. Learn how to bring the "Olde World" creations into "New World" designs. Create the textures that have been "Hot" for centuries with new ideas in textures that will be "Hot" for centuries to come. This is one series everyone should take!


Photos from one of our students: 'Here are two photos of the rooms we did for the Parade of Homes. There were 32 houses in the parade. The house we faux finished was voted best of show, best single family home, best exterior, best interior, best decor, best kitchen, best bath and one more but I can't remember what it was. Everyone raved about the faux finishing. The ceiling looks a little more red on the photo than it was. With the furnishings they put in this bedroom, the ceiling just pulled it all together. It was perfect for it. It doesn't show on the photo, but the ceiling light and fan looked like they were faux finished to match the ceiling. The stripes in the study were also a great look for that room. I'm sure we are getting at least 4 jobs from this show. In fact, the decorator would like her daughter to work with us. Professional Incubator Program

The Incubator Program is a two week training course in all the aspects of fine faux finishing. This innovative approach to training is intended to develop an apprentice faux finisher into a trained professional.

The Incubator Program can be compared to going to a foreign country to learn their language - which is widely recognized as the best way to learn any language.

This program will teach all aspects of the actual application of High End Faux Finishing techniques and applications. It is intended to take the fear out of taking the first step and going way beyond those fears to becoming a true faux finishing artist.

Here is just one example of the response we get from our Incubator Series Training Course:
